  • * Warwick Cafe Reading Project - Summer '17:  our community's shared summer reading title is Jeannette Walls's bestselling 2006 memoir The Glass Castle.  Find copies in early July at your favorite local cafes.  Read it, pass it along to friends and family, discuss (and if possible, return to a participating cafe.)  Woody Harrelson, Brie Larson and Naomi Watts star in the forthcoming movie, based on the book, opening in theaters on August 11th.  Read the book first!

    * TBR (To Be Read) Book Bingo Winner:  meet Shefa Rizvi, rising WVHS senior, who recently won the TBR Book Bingo challenge. Shefa took home as a prize this homemade book lamp made by library staff member and Book Bingo designer Tina Brown, pictured here with Shefa.  

    * 3-D Printer @ AWPL:  on Friday, July 14 from 2:00-4:00, come see AWPL's 3-D printer in action!  A staff member will be on hand to answer questions.  Pictured below are functional artifacts of the sort that AWPL's printer is capable of producing, printed by Robert Korn.


    * RCLS MobileAWPL in your pocket!  Download the RCLS Mobile app and use it to store your library card's barcode!  AWPL has a new checkout scanner to read your library card's barcode directly off of your phone. 

    * Art Exhibits for JunePlease come enjoy L'Art de Deux Amis, an exhibit by Lorraine Sniderman and Elizabeth Parkinson on display in the Community Room and Gallery.  On the main level in the Board Room, see Casey Purtell's photography exhibit, Endless Answers, One Question. The group art show, Warwick through Time, continues on the main floor.
